
Junior Curator in Training (Junior CIT) ages 14-15
Join our amazing team as a Junior Curator in Training (Junior CIT) with 4Cats Arts Studio! Volunteering as a Junior CIT with 4Cats Arts Studio offers practical experience in the best, most fun art studio ever!Volunteers acquire valuable studio skills, learn studio processes and have a rewarding experience.
- Certificate of completion awarded upon completion of the program
- Must be available for a 2 day training course (March 6th-7th, 4-8pm)
- Must be available for Spring Break (Monday-Friday March 13th-17th AND/OR March 20th-24th)
- Must be available one day weekly during school year
- For summer volunteer program, training dates will be announced soon
- Hours are not guaranteed and are based on volunteer demand and camp enrollment.
As a Junior CIT with 4Cats Arts Studio, you will:
- Create and maintain an environment where children are learning and having fun
- Assist the staff when required
- Assist in care of children during extra care times (ie before camp care, lunch care, after camp care)
- Develop studio skills and proper care of supplies
- Have internal access to job postings
We are currently accepting Junior CIT volunteer applications at 4Cats Arts Studio until February 16th 2017 for Spring Break Camp, April 15th for Summer Camp. Successful candidates will be required to provide a Police Background Check.
*Please note that completion of the 4Cats volunteer Junior CIT program does not guarantee you a position with a 4Cats in the future, but it helps!

Curator in Training (CIT) ages 16-17
Join our amazing team as a Curator in Training (CIT) with 4Cats Arts Studio! Enrolling in the CIT Program with 4Cats Arts Studio offers practical experience in the best, most fun art studio ever! CIT’s acquire valuable leadership skills, participate in leadership sessions and put those skills to use assisting curators in the studio!
- Certificate of completion awarded upon completion of the program
- Must be available for a 4 day training course (March 6th-9th, 4-8pm)
- Must be available for Spring Break (Monday-Friday March 13th-17th AND/OR March 20th-24th)
- Must be available one day weekly during school year

As a CIT with 4Cats Arts Studio, you will:
- Learn to encourage a love of learning, beauty and art
- Learn to engage, entertain, educate and inform children about art techniques and art history
- Learn to encourage creative and divergent thinking in the projects
- Learn to communicate the 4Cats program with energy and positivity
- Learn to ensure children are learning and having fun
- Assist staff when required
- Have an opportunity to volunteer throughout the school year
